I think I'm in love with Vergil, since I tend to draw him more often now:/ Anyway, I'm bloody sick of people who think my "realistic" art are paint-overs.

I'll make this clear: I traced the original pic to get an accurate lineart. My interest is the coloring and texturing, not coming up with a decent freehand sketch. I use both my own colors and from the original pic. I know that's a bad habit. I need to rely less on references for colors.

Just because I neglected to add the lineart part in my WIP for the recent Cloud pic, it doesn't mean "Omg, it's a paint-over! Blah blah..." ok? And don't assume all my art are paint-overs. I hate that. I personally frown upon paint-overs, unless it's digital manipulation. Even if you still think they are paint-overs, the least you can do is to comment politely; no need to be sarcastic:/

I know this has nothing to do with my current work, but the stained glass in that Cloud pic seems to be bothering people. The stained glass was truly an accident; I was messing around with PS. I didn't expect the stained glass to really look like stained glass. No point accusing me of using an actual AC screenie ok? I don't have time to spin a story about my backgrounds. What's the point of lying anyway?

Back to this WIP: Lineart is traced from an extremely pixelated pic of Vergil. I think it's one of those bonus pics you get when you beat a certain difficulty. Base colors from an unrelated pic. The rest of the colors are my own. I'm trying to not depend too much on references, so mistakes are aplenty. I'll add more screenshots later.

Edit: Added final screens and moved to scraps.
