Well, you donβt need it to make a good digital drawing, I had an Intuos graphic tablet for many years, itβs less expensive, and (when you get used to it) itβs a pretty good tool. But I wanted to draw directly on the screen, because it feels more natural to me and in this case the cintiq totally worth the money. It's just a lot of fun to work with.
