Description
Oh, so you're Watching me now, is that it? Some kind of creepy stalker thing, I suppose. Like when I scroll down a page to bend over reaching for that link at the bottom, you're all like, "Yes! Woo hoo, check it out!" Well, then, thanks for the Watch, I guess. But let me tell you something, you ... you ... Deviant! Two can play at that game. I'm watching you right back! So there, take that, see if YOU like it!
Wait ... what? You LIKE being watched? Oh ... umm ... well, I sort of do too. *giggles*
Do you think it's okay if we like sort of kind of ... ahh ... you know, Watch each other?
I'll let you look at mine if you let me look at yours. Deal?
(( Just having fun and teasing, please don't take me too seriously!Β *smiles* ))

Thank you! And MEOW! What a cute kitty! Now if that kitty is actually dangerous, like the bunny rabbit in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, then you really would have the perfect stealth predator. Hehehe. *smiles*

Haha, good question! For now, it was poor Aletessa all spreadeagle in the Game of Thralls. But I'm sure that the tables will be turned eventually and some version of Val will be in the position of my unfortunate Jungle Girl Jenissa here. *smiles*

Indeed, you have already given me an idea of what to inflict on you.Β But for the time being, in some serendipity:Β I got my 50th watcher a couple of days ago, and visited their site to find they were on 99, so I could make them up to 100.Β How cool is that?

That is awesome! I was able to be someone's 299th once, but I wish I could have been number 300. Missed it by "that much," hehe. So glad you could be number 100 for that person. And congrats on 50 Watchers for you! I just surpassed 80 to hit 81, so you were part of that too. Maybe you were even number 80, or you must have been close anyway. Gotta love the mutual admiration society of DeviantArt, hehe. *smiles*
Now you have me curious about what your devious mind is concocting for Val. I think I talked about how I imagine my Second Life identity of Valorita Espinosa -- who I envision as being played by someone like Christian Serratos (spelling?) -- is how I am picturing myself, and that it is probably best to call me Val McJames for the recognition of other Deviants. Let me know if my memory is failing me or if you need to know anything else to do your dastardly deeds, hehe. *smiles*

As one of your "mutuallers" I insist that you watch me watching you while you watch meΒ
I would lend you my powerful binoculars but I need them Β

Thank you!
If you think my avatar in Second Life looks good, then you give me hope that posting shots from SL may actually work here. I don't know how to create actual 3-D art, but I can use my avatar in SL to pose or animate and take a shot of the action. I'm excited you like this, so you have just encouraged me to post more.
And you bet I'm gonna watch you watching me watch you watching me ... umm, you know what I mean!
Hmm, binoculars aren't a bad idea. I actually keep a magnifying glass by my monitor and that works almost as well, hehe. Sometimes I need it to see what the villains are threatening me with, haha.
*smiles*

Several people here post mostly images from SL - some go on to IRAY or DAZ or whatever CG computer imagery but not all.Β Take a look at, for instance CorrennStormcrow Β who produces beautiful SL imagery, or Β shellyuk1990 who does both SL and DAZ images.Β I am sure there are many othersΒ - probably even groups devoted to SL images - but it's not my area of experience; I'm sure others can help you if you need it. Good luck!

I've yet to dive into Daz or any other 3D generative apps, though I've plans on exploring Blender as a tool in the near future, if only to create more tools for use in SL. Right now I find exploring what I can produce out of SL (with the aid of Gimp), pushing my bounds as an artist there, as well as the capabilities of the Β SL "engine", very satisfying.
In any case, my advice to all, in any medium, is just make lots of stuff. Push your comfort levels, stay curious, and be kind to yourself when the plateaus eventually come around. Welcome to the club.

I started doing sl imagery, taking mostly screen caps of events I was at and quite liked the results, and I posted them here, I then went on to trying to find the most photogenic sims and then putting them on.... but I found I wanted more and more control so I started to dabble in Daz and Poser.... now I'm not going to say that I am a very good Daz artist, but I am so addicted I am probably one of the most prolific.Β

That sounds like it would be my path as well. I'm starting with Second Life, and will probably progress from there, trying to balance it all with writing. Thanks for sharing your experience, since it encourages me to not give up but keep learning. *smiles*

Do keep learning, I've only been using Daz for just over a year... and while I am certainly far from the best with it, I am certainly not embarrassed Β by what I am putting out.Β

hey Val don't miss Corrennstormcrow's response, above (responding to my comment rather than yours, so you won't have got a notification that it was there).Β I just picked 2 artistsΒ I knew ofΒ and they both came up trumpsΒ Β It's the magic of DAΒ
