And so.... having gone as far as to reveil deeper Lore on the history on the Transcenders as well as give a little indepth look on they're counter part race, the Embryians, I figured I may as well take some time to feature a character based on that subspecies race as well, along with give them a bit of love and development to follow! Therefore, without further or do, here we have Railgun; the first official design for the embryian race! A Species of aquatic/amphibious beings composed of pure organic bio-matter allowing them an almost infinite amount of shape altering capabilities. While unlike transcenders, they aren't nearly as strong, nor share the ability to transcend, let alone manipulate elements, these beings are very highly adaptive creatures with three times a longer life span than Transcenders, and several times more the durability and regenerative capabilities allowing them to survive and endure even the harshest conditions, recover instantaneously from injuries that would be fatal to most living creatures, and the ability to convert they've bodies to mimic the elemental properties of various liquid based elements that they absorb, or fuse with. Unlike Transcenders which once inhabited the surface remains of Astrea, these creatures dwelt within the cosmic seas of the planets corrupted mantel, living in the shadows. In the earlier ages after the splitting of they're planet, the Embryians, at the time stood as the apex predators of the planet, having dominance over all living creatures that lived on the planet, including the Transcenders, which at the time where still known to be Atomites before the discovery of the life seed, and for this reason, many of they're kind sought to expand they're dominion even over the surface to put all creatures under they're rule. This however fell apart after the spread of the Wraith outbreak which not only drove them back to the cosmic seas, but also, nearly wiped out all remaining life from they're world, until the Atomites, having become Transcenders stepped into combat and defeat the wraiths helping restore order to Astrea- thus ushering in the new alliance between the two races to be formed, which lasted several dynasties until the great fall of Astrea.

Lore: Railgun, AKA Vikeif, is one of few survivors of the Embryian race that witnessed and escaped the destruction of they're home planet; Astrea which they shared along side the Trascenders. Prior to they're worlds collapse, Vikeif lived as a member of the "D.P.A." (Defectors Prosecution Alliance) A group of highly trained assassins tasked with seeking out and hunting members of they're own species who have committed the great taboo and have thus been labeled as defectors, and like the leaders of they're species, "The Spokesmen" these Embryians have clearance both to visit and even live among surface dwellers, such as the Transcenders and other creatures of the surface. Since the time he first received clearance to the surface, he, like all DPA's devoted his life to the service of the The Spokesmen, carrying out they're every task and demand to hunt and exterminate defectors without question, and on rare occasion, deliver in person messages to the seven Transcender Colonies scattered across the land.... however, as the times grew dark ever since the "Chromatic Prince" took the throne as ruler of one of the seven Transcender colonies shortly before coming to rule them all, life for him, along with other DPA's began to change as well as reports of members of they're own clan becoming defectors started to come in... one of which being Vikeif's own teacher whom he unfortunately was tasked to kill, and only barely succeeded. As the reports of more and more of they're kind becoming defectors continued to come in, Vikeif found himself for the first time beginning to question the word of his authorities as well as the truth behind the increase in defector cases including they're own, and even more so when some of his targets showed signs of being infected by wraiths. It was through this curiosity that eventually lead to the discovery behind the dark truth of the source of the Transcenders elemental powers; the Temple of Elements was actually gained through the drinking of Wraiths blood, and even worse, that even members of his own kind, among the The Spokesmen where knowledgeable of this, and secretly contributed to they're supply by having other members of the DPA spread the infection to defectors, and then hiring other DPA's to kill them to ensure the secret was never exposed. Having felt betray by his own kind, sought to abandon his role as a DPA, but before having the chance to do so, was attacked and captured by his own allies who brought him before one of the eldest Spokesmen who reviled to him the truth in detail, and warned him of the imminent destruction that would very soon befall Astrea. After sharing with Vikeif all that he said, he issued him one final mission, followed by a request... to take this message of warning to the small outskirt Transcender communities as well as provide them with the information they needed to escape the destruction of Astrea so that they may survive... and finally, to take his life as atonement for the sins he committed in having betray his responsibility as an honorable spokesman, and allowed the corruption to spread not only to Transcenders, but even more so to they're kind of well... of which even he as his spoke was also infected and already being overtaken. After honoring the spokesman's request, he then left the cosmic sea's and his people for the last time to fulfill his final mission, where he passed on the word of warning as asked, and on his own, left Astrea behind.

Nearly several years since the time when he left his world behind and adapted to his new life in a world inhabited by a species of anthropomorphic humanoid beings living in a mondern aged society, Vikeif, under the code name; "Railgun" assumes a new role as an indirect ally to a smallm non-government anti-terrorist agency where he's remained since.
