Wooo! It's finally finished. This isn't exactly what I had in mind, but I like it all the same. I wasn't actually planning to make it black and white, but I think it looks better than it does in color. It sort of gives it an old feeling.

I came up with the idea for this while contemplating the advantages and disadvantages of a castle on an island in the middle of some sort of body of water. On one hand, the water creates a very good natural defense, especially if the bridge connecting the island to the mainland is thin, so only two people abreast (yes, "abreast" is a real word meaning in this sentence two people side-by-side, so grow up!) can cross. Even if the enemy has boats, crossing open water would be suicide. A castle on a large enough island to sustain a farm and that has access to fresh water could resist a seige. On the other hand, it could backfire. Such small bridge could trap the people of the castle in the event of an emergency. Also, if the food supplies is low and/or fresh water is unatainable, the whole setup is stupid on behalf of the castle's builders. I could go on, but I won't XD

Yes, I know the castle's proportion to that of the lake is off, making the castle look like tiny, but it was the best I could do! And I'm not changing it.
