THIS WEEK ON EGO GENEROSITY: GOGO HULKS OUT, IT TURNS OUT DIDI WAS EAVESDROPPING, PABLO IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, AND WE HAVE AN EXCUSE TO REDIRECT US SOME DAMN LIGHTNING! (and also concussive force but whatevs, homey)
Apologies to those who figured Andy got pulverized in part 7. He might have had it coming, but Didders pulled a Gandalf and did a little Balrog-blockin'. And after all, who needs to die over this petty squabble when a few pulverized bones will wrap it up? A lesson is learned by all, no one is dead, and we all live happily ever after.
However, there is the issue with missing walls and doors now. Huh.

SCENE: Gogo emerges from her room, takes a look around, then strides to the patio door and, without a word, kicks and punches until the glass, frame, and adjoining sections of wall are demolished. Satisfied that all door-points of entry to the apartment are sufficiently obliterated, she turns to the camera. "Feng Shui, bitches", she mutters, and returns to her room.

I didn't expect THAT.
I thought is was more like that Gogo almost destroys him and that she and Didi have to use their collective abilities and knowledge to save him...
...but then again, that would probably go a little too quick for story developement.
Also: I sure as hell don't want to be their insurance agent.
Question: Who's that little girl in Gogo's flashback?
I guess I had a little too much wishful thinking in the ways of this turning into some kind of "shonen manga"-like story. It was probably fueled by that one pic of Alex with those energy swords in his hands and a giant Gogo behind him... hm, yup, that's the one: [link]

That was an amazing turn of events! Great storytelling and artwork, glad to see Gogo back to her sexy badass self, and that Andy is still alive XD
BTW, why does Gogo see Andy as a little version of herself during that one panel?

A couple people have wondered about that, and I suppose the idea isn't as clear as it could be, but...It's sort of a flash of insight wherein Gogo remembers the feeling of being helpless and vulnerable, and realizes she's the one making someone else feel like that. She sees herself (or a former part of herself) in Andy, and that slams on the psychological brakes.
Maybe that's more than i could hit in a few panels

Just out of curiosity, what does Didi do for a living? I'm assuming she's the breadwinner of the family here, and now there are some extensive home repairs...

As for the home repairs, I get the feeling that will mostly be done by Didi and Andy.

Ok so Didi can be more or less considered to be Gogo's girl. Gogo might have split herself in two to get there and Didi might share 100% of her DNA but in the end the variations are so strong that i think it's more appropriate to consider her as a daughter and not as a clone.
Didi might actually be a manifestation of the sides Gogo was trying to emulate (under great pain and ; forgive me the pun; pressure).
I kind of always wondered how Didi was so smart, in my idea it was due to sharing her genes with Gogo. The key to that is that Gogo's DNA might contain something like a booster of sorts... it greatly enhances certain aspects. Didi seemed to have chosen the way of the mind and Gogo the way of the fist. I'm now doubting this. If Didi is able to deviate Gogo's (full and rage enhanced) force and still being intact (yet sustaining a great deal of pain) it might be possible that Didi chose the middle path... A balance between power and mind...
Anyways, good job as always VanHeist.

I love this conclusion. All issues I've had with 'character inconsistencies' are forgiven, although I must ask: does Andy really not know that Didi is pretty much the same being as Gogo? Because that, at least in my mind, perfectly explains why Didi was able to block her attack.

If i can offer some viable advice, one writer to another, people typically don't utilize former means of speech like "you are" unless it's to deliberate a point. Maybe try adding some you're's and I'm's in your prose.
