THIS WEEK ON EGO GENEROSITY: GOGO HULKS OUT, IT TURNS OUT DIDI WAS EAVESDROPPING, PABLO IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, AND WE HAVE AN EXCUSE TO REDIRECT US SOME DAMN LIGHTNING! (and also concussive force but whatevs, homey)
Apologies to those who figured Andy got pulverized in part 7. He might have had it coming, but Didders pulled a Gandalf and did a little Balrog-blockin'. And after all, who needs to die over this petty squabble when a few pulverized bones will wrap it up? A lesson is learned by all, no one is dead, and we all live happily ever after.
However, there is the issue with missing walls and doors now. Huh.

But for srs, holy hell, I have had a feeling Didi had a few hidden tricks in her arsenal but DAMN. Testament to her power and Gogo's. Hope she comes out of this alright.

You know, that never actually occurred to me. I guess I forgot that she was bullied for years until she realised she was an unstoppable rage monster. Huh. I guess it didn't look enough like her in my mind. Maybe it's the rare expression on her face, maybe it's the wide eyes, might even be the unusual mouth shape. But I'm comparing her face in Ego 8 to her face in 'Surely Someday,' and I just cant shake the feeling I'm looking at someone else.

I bet Gogo and Andy both feel lousy for letting things escalate to the point that Didi got hurt. Fantastic conclusion. You're storytelling just keeps getting better and better.
Is there any chance for an epilogue on this? Must know what happens afterward.

Mmmh, I dunno. Like, I mean, maybe some edge-bleeds, but jaggy panels I think are too quickly resorted to far too often. Let me put it this way, your work loses nothing by being in square panels. The overall layout and flow is far more important.

They've diverged greatly from being the "same", but Didi obviously knows how Gogo works, at least to a great extent.
Less obviously, Gogo must know a thing or two about Didi, since Gogo doesn't actually engage her when she breaks in, and only threatens

Didi is just, WOW. I really love how you have her with scientific-based powers. Like if Gogo knew how her powers worked, and applied scientific knowledge to that... TOTAL POWERHOUSE
It's nice to see things wrapped up like this, with Gogo apologizing, Andy getting his bubble popped, and Didi being awesome.
Also, GOGO LOOKS ABSOLTUELY FANTASTIC HERE. I don't know if my heart can take how sexy she is; THERE IS THE AMAZONIAN BRUTE WE LOVE
