Everyone's favorite big red truck... or monkey... or...

Digitally painting mecha is tough, and much respect goes out to anyone who finds it easy! I was inspired to give Prime a try after seeing some really wicked Megaman boss art done over in YouTube, along with the fact that I needed to practice drawing Prime, and painting mechanicals in general.

It's not quite G1, or any other subsequent version, per se, since I wanted to try my own hand at interpreting his form. I'm not saying whether he turns into a COE or Longnose truck cab though.

I'd also like to say that this was a speedpaint, but this one actually took at least 2-3 hours with a few breaks sprinkled throughout. I suppose it's fast for me... But I think I'm more comfortable doing my mechs in pencil first!
