Description
The PeacekeeperMegaman returns from his mission to gather the required materials to complete the peacekeeping robot designed by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily, but the result isn't what he was expecting...
The Peacekeeper is a towering combination of the defeated Robot Masters, and each component has his role to play in the giant's functions.
Magnet Man is the de facto leader of the 3rd Generation Robot Masters, not only because of his powerful magnetic ability but also his undeniable charisma that unites the various personalities of his comrades into a cohesive whole. He forms the right leg of the Peacekeeper.
Hard Man's super-dense armor serves to protect the core essential to the Peacekeeper's functions. The powerful boosters of his Hard Knuckle double as a backpack allowing the Peacekeeper to fly.
Snake Man's scheming personality was put in line by Magnet Man assigning him to become the Peacekeeper's head unit. By serving as the cognitive core for the giant's combined personality, Snake Man has a sense of importance that distracts him from seeking leadership of the team from Magnet Man.
Top Man forms the right hand of the Peacekeeper. His excellent sense of balance keeps the titan from toppling over when moving through uneven terrain, and when receiving heavy firepower. Unfortunately his own uncurable vertigo is made worse by serving as one of the Peacekeeper's extremities.
Gemini Man is the team's fabricator. His cloning ability also serves to create the additional armor and servos that allow the team to fully merge into a single, functional body.
Spark Man serves not only as the Peacekeeper's power source, but also as its left arm, capable of delivering powerful shots of Spark Shot during battle.
Needle Man doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than being the Peacekeeper's upper left arm, but as he was the Robot Master mostly built for battle, he has almost unparalleled knowledge of tactics and weapons among the team. He know where to hit, when to hit, and what to hit with.
Where Top Man provides balance, Shadow Man provides agility. With his martial arts programming, Shadow Man gives the combined robot incredible hand-to-hand fighting ability, as well as speed and movement that contrasts its bulk.
I mentioned previously that I didn't like the original final boss for Mega Man 3, the peacekeeping robot, Gamma, which was little more than a large head and a hand. While probably a precursor to Capcom's Versus series bosses Apocalypse and Onslaught, the 8-bit equivalent was highly underwhelming, especially when compared to the personality and style of the Robot Masters themselves.
So why not make my own final boss? I actually designed this combination years ago, when I still lived in the US, and still in the 7th grade. My drawing has definitely improved since then!
And I tossed in Megaman and Rush for scale purposes.

I've been meaning to do an actual color pic with this, but haven't had much time. The description mentions where each bot is located but, in order to simplify things, here goes:
Snake Man: Head
Hard Man: Torso, Shoulders, Upper Legs
Gemini Man, Top Man: Right Arm
Needle Man, Spark Man: Left Arm
Magnet Man: Right Leg
Shadow Man: Left Leg

Oh c'mon that would have been an EXCELLENT boss fight! You'd probably have to use every single weapon you've collected, since he'll have a life bar for each component, and you'll probably need the Rush Coil or the Rush Jet to get over him when he charges, or slide if he tries to stomp you...

You know we've gotta be talkin' MMZ grade difficulty, right? Sounds like an awesome fan remake to me.
You'd need at least nine energy tanks... >.<

>sigh< My old school experience only got me as far as 3, and only with the X series from 5 to 8. I'd really love to play the Zero games as well as ZX.

Have you seen the Megaman Zero Collection for the DS? MMZ 1-4 with Easy Scenario (YAY!), or the Megaman X Collection for the PS2/XBox.
The DS Collection is very accessible as it's easy to pick up and put down.

I was going through the X Collection and was on X5 when my PS2 decided to go blind with its lens.
I've never gotten any handhelds, but with Megaman on the DS, it's a definite temptation!

The ability to play with my nephew was the deciding factor in buying the DS, and the MMZ Collection was a clincher. If you've got any younger family to play with... pick up Mario Party DS. It's an endless riot. ^^

I don't have a DS yet, but I checked out one of the local stores nonetheless, but unfortunately they only had the Star Force series available. Not that I have anything against the characters, but it's the gameplay style there that turns me off. I prefer my running and gunning when it comes to the Mega Man universe.

Absolutely. It's great to keep the brain in shape too. I've found the MMZ series to require sharp reflexes and real focus, and that's good news for the aging (not me! never!) mind.
Have you considered ordering it from an online source?

I'll definitely consider the online option-- once I have something to spend!

Awesome design. I didn't think that meshing the bots together would make this! MEGAMAZORD!
