Okay, this is a collective expression of my geekhood. Strap in, and enjoy the ride!
It should be evident that I love the Souls series. I’ve played the 3 Souls games, and while I still have to start Bloodborne, will definitely be digging into that one soon enough. I love the lore, the environmental storytelling, the game design, and the high, but-not-too-punishing difficulty. It’s probably my current favorite game series, to which I compare most of my other games.
I am also a definite Transformers fan, pretty much since Generation 1. I have watched and enjoyed most of the different incarnations in different degrees, to the point I say the only reason I don’t like the (originally) Japanese released Unicorn trilogy is because I haven’t really watched them. Now, I’m not at that point I say that the franchise can do no wrong, but I make it a point to find what I can to enjoy, but still accept and understand whatever flaws I find.
Now this is a personal experiment in concept art. Concept is simple: visualize a Transformers game, as if From Software were its developers. The background and UI are drawn from scratch. The characters are taken from photos I took of my own toys. For those who are interested, Optimus is the recently release Voyager Class Optimus Prime for the toy line for The Last Knight, while Bumblebee is the Deluxe Class toy from Age of Extinction. The Energon (Engex) cube is custom drawn, but the equipped sword makes use of a stock photo of a keychain accessory of Optimus’ sword. (Incidentally, Bumblebee is holding the sword that came with Optimus, while Optimus is brandishing a pair of weapons that came with Fall of Cybertron Ultra Magnus.)

I love this. The tone really suits The Last Knight's apocalyptic feel, especially since we seem to be entering a movie where there's a lot more moral grey area after all their war has wrought on Earth.

It's especially appropriate considering which abilities Bumblebee is displaying in the new trailers for the film- namely, regeneration from near death by use of what might be a medieval power, haha

Nice. I'd sure play it if it were a thing. I've only officially played Dark 3 and Bloodborne, but I love the games. I could get behind a Transformers game with From Software as its developer. just from your picture alone, I picture walking into a huge room inside a starship, dramatic music kicking in, and that dreaded healthbar showing up, "Optimus, The Last Prime," as he slowly walks toward you. And being that he's friggin' Optimus, he would probably be one of the most difficult fights in the game.
It would be interesting to create an Autobot or Decepticon and fight against the more iconic characters in a quiet, methodical adventure, just like the Souls series. It could be set on a war-torn Cybertron, or perhaps even in an ancient era, maybe closer to the timeline of the original 13 Primes.

Nope, boss fight. His idea here is a Transformers game that plays just like the Dark Souls series. Really good series if you haven't tried it.
