This is a reasonably easy way to make good-enough textures for MMD. I use similar techniques for all the textures I make. These aren't incredible works of art, but they're sufficient.

My old version of this was cumbersome and slow, but even so, I got a lot of use out of it. This is easier and faster, and I think other people could get some use out of it too.
