Great image sir! I Just wanted to let you know I stumbled across your work with my YF-35 while looking at some other stuff here and i like it... and I'm glad to see someone enjoying my efforts... Keep up the great art
I also wanted to let you know that the YF-35 itself only has the two modes... the video you saw is for a new 3-mode version I'll be releasing shortly and I'll have to point that out to VP... I do apologize for the confusion... When I built the YF-35 it was done from my own designs for a 2 mode version of what would later become known as the AGA Ground Attack Mecha from Macross 2... I'd created this as an early proto-type back during my gaming days when I played Macross/Robotech RPG's.

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to write this comment. Thanks for making the model available, and explaining the issue with the 3-mode version. I look forward to the release, also it would be awesome if you could make the original Macross VF, there are models out there, but they can't be compared to the quality and features of the YF35.
I also did this render btw fav.me/d6tnf81 --I like this one more.

No problem and you're welcome... I didn't want to leave you thinking there was an issue with a product I'd made. FYI the 3 mode version, called AVF-35-J Wildhog, will be available soon at Vp through my brokered agreement with them. If you keep an eye on his site you'll see it when it comes out.

The 3-mode version is a single-seater type and also has 3 extra head types similar to the old VF-1 Fighters of Macross/Robotech fame plus will have it's own extras and add-ons... I intended it to be and Advanced Air-superiority Variant to provide air support for the YF-35 in it's Ground Attack/EW roles... If you take a look through my Macross Images folder in my gallery you'll get a look at some of the extras I have planned as well as an enemy fighter in the early stages of development...

It comes with lots of stuff, but I can't get it to do a full transformation; not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if they are going to release some other add on pack to do it later, there's a video at the VP site that shows it becoming a full robot

i was just looking at it. I'd have to buy it to look fully. I might do that. I actually am the current writer of the Robotech RPG for Palladium books. Robotech was based in part off of the original Macross series, and I'm a huge macross fan. I've got their valkyrie model and it works nicely. The way to transform that one was through poses in the Pose files. It had one for fighter mode, one for Gerwalk and one for battloid. It even had one for storage. Is it not the same with this model?

I have that VF model, but this one works a bit different. There are 3 poses for transformation stages, to switch between gerwalk and fighter, but no battloid mode as far as I can see. Perhaps I'm missing something, not sure.
I got the base YF35 and all the packs, even without the battloid mode it's worth it, lots of goodies and works like a charm in Daz Studio. There's a dial that fires missiles in all directions from the base model and the weapon addons, a single dial and boom --it's only missing jet fire to be perfect, too bad they missed that detail.
I wish they could make the original VF from Macross with this level of detail and features.
