Description Just another day on scout duty, moving ahead of the fleet and looking awesome

I used fire props by ~smay3d to render the blue jet fire inside Daz Studio. Pilots in this squad are V4's wearing Xurge3D suits.

I like how you blurred the SDF-1 to add more depth to the scene.

Yes I wanted to set the focus on the VFs

The one and only, yep, although the image came out a bit loaded, too much stuff, green nebula not too helpful

works for me---you want some art that's "too busy", check out Jackson Pollock but what you've done here, I like.

Those fire props worked out pretty well for afterburner plumes

Render speed takes a hit on those areas though, I'm not very fond of themΒ

The after-burner props I made for that "Test Range" image really ate up render cycles too... possibly even worse than those ones you used... lol I custom made mine and there were about 20 or so primitives in each one.... then with transparency plus trans-maps and etc... add to that having applied bump-mapping to the VF and buildings, and about 7 layers of trans-maps for the dust clouds.... so I feel for you, anything like that eats into render times in a big way I think if I recall that one render took around 14 hours and some would consider that a short render... lol

Yikes, I play with DS in my spare time, so I try to keep renders below 1 hour, 3 hours is the most I'll put up with, otherwise is not fun at all

The last major render I did was for a contest... 36 hours render time and that was only using faked reflections on the metalics... In fact it was the "Neuro-Heaven" image in my Anime Girl folder... I had full ray-traced reflections on it at one point... but when it hit 4 days and only 85% complete I cancelled it and faked the reflections instead...

Β I think the longest render I've ever completed is the "Age of Steam" which took over 3 days to finish...
