Painful memories I know! It's really tough to lose a family member, I lost my half-nephew the day later he was born! I'm a 14 yrs old boy and felt like a grown up holding my half-nephew but a day later he died of Respiratory Distress Syndrome(RDS).

I know the feeling when I was younger I wanted to be a older brother I'm the youngest child, they both died as well from RDS the first died after a day of birth the other died after coming out of the womb.

I know the feeling. I am a twinless twin. My sister and I were born 24 week. Sadie got very sick and died 10 days after we were born. So I most of my life I never knew Sadie. I say most of my life because now I can see and talk to her. A twin thing. No one can really explain how twins have these special connection.

They say twins are souls in two body and there's a telepathic connection between them. If one feels pain, the other will feel it too. If one is happy, the other can't help but to be in a good mood.
When one body dies they say the loss is different than when you lost your next to kin that is not a twin.
It's feels like you lost half of yourself and you feel a lot emptier inside.

The only Thing which is out of the place is the cross, actually the christian cross. because that's a symbolism of the catholic HUMAN religion.

While I'm not a religious person I do have a preference for crosses on graves, even if the meaning completely escapes me.
Maybe mostly because that's what I see mostly in the graveyard where my twin is burried (we got seperated at 4 months old)

jajaja, I'm not in the religion thing but there's something called consistency or context.
Actually the grave thing is a strong image and I like it. But as I said, is another world (or dimension), they can't use symbols or things from our world unless it have some kind of contexts about how or why.
Is a cool and sad thing to think that in both worlds we all live as human or pony and most of the things happen to us in nearly the same ways; live, love and death.
Remember, religious symbols are always a delicate thing and we must place them carefully.

Really amazing work, though, Vava. A... tiny part of me is happy for her(?) that it's raining, at least, to match her feelings. A surprising number have to do it in bright, sunny, 'cheerful' weather, so at least she can hope/think that the world is mourning with her, instead of mocking her...
