PAST

Roy grew up with a great dream of defending the kingdom he loved. Hot headed and eager, the wyngling grew into a quad that climbed the ranks until he was admitted to Antova as a guard. From here he continued his ambitious ascent until he reached the power of general and tactical advisor. Roy remained in service to the crown for a large portion of his life, allowing him to experience many missions both public and secretive. The position embedded him in the ever tangling ties of politics which slowly caused his disposition to change-- once a wide eyed youth, he softened into a quiet and calculating force. His once sharpened spines slowly dulled and vanished as Roy aged into a more whimsical, yet haggard bipedal form. Feeling his duty completed, the Wyngro decided to retire and move as far away from the kingdoms reach while still lingering on the borders of it's protection. In his search he came upon Wynsiph and took up his craft as a toymaker and tinkerer.

Now he he lives in a small cot with his snout buried in his trade. Roy spends his days creating toys for the Wynglings of the Nook and supplying a steady stream of wonderful little automatons for all to play with. From small whizz-snappers to wind-up runeboos, his gifts are guaranteed to leave a smile on your face.

PERSONALITY

Roy is everything your typical grandfather is though he doesn't have any family to call his own. He is kind, understanding, willing to listen but also quite eager to talk your ear off with stories (though they may leave you wondering if they're true). That being said, he does try to avoid mentioning any details about his life in Antova and will insist that it is talk ill suited for a quaint town such as Wynsiph. He has no tolerance for violence and, depsite his age, will quickly diffuse any situation of negativity. Roy has a huge soft spot for wynglings and loves to see them smile but also is quite welcomeing to adults. He believes that there is a wyngling inside everyone and finds his creations to be a wonderful medium to bring out ones inner child. It would be easiest to say that he lives for joy and wishes to continue spreading happiness until his final days.
