god dammit! this one took me much (MUCH) more than expected...lot of nerves went on it, mostly because of the composition, and perspective,...and everything else!! ....me angry
anyways, this was my failed entry to the "Eowyn and the nazgul" contest (that ended few months ago), organized by muddy colors...oh, yea, if you are illustration addicts, such as i am
, you should go and check their blog at [link] ...lots of great stuff to be found there 
as for the artwork...this is one of the famous scenes in trilogy. the duel between Eowyn and Witch-king of Angmar...
i gave myself totally freedom with this one...it's half book, half movie, half my imagination illustration concept.

Wow! This is actually scaring me! Just, unbelievable! The blood and flame and smoke are terrifying like this! The only thing I would change, is Eowyn's hair color to blonde, but that's just me!

HoooooWOW! Best rendition of this scene. EVER. The Nazgul and dragon look WAY scarier than I've ever imagined, thereby making Eowyn way more badass too. In terms of the artwork, I really like the muted browns, grays and reds instead of the usual "black and evil nazgul". It makes it feel as though it is in the heat of battle, the sweat, the dirt, the blood, the grim and horrible reality of it all.

Ho-ly. Shit. Like it? I'm friggin' stunned by it. It's just beautiful, and it looks like a piece that should have represented that scene in a reprint of the book. If I had the cash, I'd pay you to do a piece with Smaug, from The Hobbit.
I always made fun of the Witch King in the movie when his helmet crumples up after he's PWN'd by Eowyn.
