Description
At around 0908H, two walking police patrolmen were patrolling Old Norfolk Road which is home to abandoned container vans, when they heard a loud banging and murmuring different language. Immediately the police officers quickly locate the source of the sound and identified it is coming from an abandoned lot with high fences and barbed wires, the officers tried to look for any person whom maybe guarding the lot but unfortunately they didn't find one. They immediately reported it back to NPD and asked for NFD to gain access inside the compound. Within minutes NFD Battalion 13, Engine 27, and Ladder 03 arrived and forcefully unlocked the gate.

Upon gaining access inside the compound NFD quickly unlocked the abandoned container van, to their surprise there are 5 dead bodies and tons of human feces and slaughtered chickens, and one survivor whom they identified as human trafficked laborer. immediately NFD radioed EMS assistance and provide pre-hospital care to the surviving individual and transported to Newport General Hospital.

NPD together with National Investigation Agency, Borders and Customs Authority and Pinesdor Aliens and Immigration Service of Borders and Customs Authority are now investigating the incident and trying to located the point of origin of the abandoned container van.
