interesting, but a precious metal coin would be more "realistic" ...

this is probably during the time of man when magic can't really keep things going so everyone switches to mechanical and paper money is invented. the bill looks pretty detailed with more than just paper and ink so they may be to a state where they are as advanced as us, only, you know, with dwarves and hobbits and all that jazz.

I don't think the bank of Middle Earth needed many security features...LOL!

Yeah, I guess your right unless someone learns the art of counterfeiting lol.
Also in my D&D game I was experimenting with the idea of gold certificates as a more secure method of carrying large amounts of gold around.
As bank note would weigh less then actual gold pieces and if made with polymer, could be virtually indestructible.
What do you think about that?

That reminds me that the new Canadian currency is going to be made of a polymer blend. They look pretty cool and they can have transparent areas for more security features.

You got it! Strider, aka, Aragorn, and then finally King! FYI: Tolkien's original name for him was going to be Trotter. (ugh!)

Found out the answer to my own question . Elessar Telcontar is another name for King Aragorn.

The engraved look with the plugin was a great idea. Works very well

My only thing is... Why does the money have the ring poem written in the dark tongue? Seems like a bad idea...

I kind of thought the same thing but since it a commemorative currency I went for the look and aesthetics more than the real meaning of the elven script. The ring script was the first thing I wanted on the currency just because of the beauty of the script.

Cool beans, I can understand that. And the whole thing does look awesome. Tried to do my own currency for some stuff and I couldn't even begin to get the Guilloche stuff to work. Well done

Thanks gain for your input. I had a whole gate of Moria thing for the back but that really doesn't fit so I think I'm going with a little Hobbit house door as a center frame and then decorate with other symbols and portraits probably of Sam and Frodo. Sometimes I'll do a ton of work but when I put it all together it looks like crap. That's the idiocy of my process. Sometimes I can't see it until I put it together.
