Gosh. I'm just... dazzled!
Can't believe how masterfully turned Maria's atmosphere into a powerful brushstroke.
My first add to my favorites goes for you. Great, I mean-- GREAT JOB!

I adore it. <3
I don't know where to begin praising this, so I'll settle for saying you did great work in this all around, especially considering it's a bust.

This is absolutely beautiful. You have a really nice, gritty style, but at the same time it's smooth and refined, which goes well with the feel of Silent Hill.
Seriously, I could write an essay on this, so I'll just shut up and favourite it.

I'm really impressed with the texture of her skin and hair, as well as the shine.

This is sooooo cool.. Regardless her clothes she looks more like Mary due to her face expression and sadness. You captured all that was hidden in her. Great job

Very, very nice She looks both like she aims to seduce and lure the player with her pouting lips. Beautiful.

I think your art is awesome, I'm very impressed with the level of realism you present and I'd love to be as good as you are. But since you said ANY comments are welcome... I looked at your other studies of SH characters ant just in this one the features seem a bit off. I think that it might be her lips , maybe they're slighty thicker, or her eyes are a little more narrow, but the similiarity seems to have been lost somewhere, unlike the other studies. I still think it's a great painting but I grant myself the right to criticize even if it's someone better than me.
Can you tell me what you used for reference?

Good point.. I appreciate the comment, thank you. I remember that I did struggle painting Maria's face. By altering the surrounding too much, the features that were right got altered in the process. Normally, after a certain period, the more I alter the painting, the worse it gets. I am learning to stop painting at the right moment so I can maintain the spontaniety of the painting while making sure that people can recognise the character. That's stil la long way to go, I admit.
The picture is based on a screenshot from Born from A Wish.

Well, I can't say you had any problems with the other studies, including Maria in red. They all look just like they should, I love them.
