SUPERHERO NAMECodex
REAL NAME
Gwenyth Stone (17)
POWERS(S)
Spell Caster
-can't do anything affecting another persons being (healing, life draining, ect)
-suspects she can, but hasn't figured out how to yet
-has telepathic and other such spells to get in peoples heads/mess with them, but sucks majorly at them

-Escape artist
VULNERABLILITIES
-Needs to vocalize spells
-More complex or powerful spells take longer to cast, some taking up to a full uninterrupted minute
-The more complex the spells also take more energy, and leave her incredibly weak afterwards, and in some cases she'll just pass right out (something she finds incredibly annoying and embarrassing)
-If she's interrupted mid-spell, it will fizzle out or in some cases backfire on her or her teammates
-She can sometime get seriously disorientated after talking to the other Keepers, forgetting where she is, what year it is, or at times even who she is
-This has, on rare occasion, gone a step further to the point where her actions are temporarily controlled by another Keeper for their own purposes

PERSONALITY
Gwen has been a write-off since day one. She's always been into illusions and magic, and as such, has been deemed an irresponsible dreamer. This has caused her to eagerly seek out the respect of her superiors. She'll eagerly take on things out of her league, over-confident in her abilities and filled with a longing to prove herself. She wants to show her superiors that she's not just some kid who just stumbled her way into her powers. She wants to show that she's trained and that she's ready. Christopher always used to say that that desire in itself proves she's not ready at all.
This has turned it into a bit of a show-off and someone with a tendency to steal the spotlight and inevitably, get in the way. She's also incredibly hard on herself when this showboat attitude does compromise her teammates or her mission, but seldom will she show this. Instead, when confronted about her attitude, she'll often bite right back, defensive to a fault. While she feels terrible about the way she parted ways with Christopher and constantly worries about his safety, her stubborn pride stops her from doing anything to fix this.
In the end though, despite all the power lust and the over-confidence, she's running around as a superhero to do one thing and one thing only. Gwen is a superhero because, by a roll of the dice, she was given the ability to save people. And save people is exactly what she intends to do.

EDIT: Yeah...that description totally was unnecessarily long
I have a friend, , who took my original design and made it kick-ass (not to mention less of a grunge-y rip-off of The Authority's Doctor
So anyway, this is the latest incarnation of a character I've been reworking and revamping time and time again over the past four years. She's appeared in three RPs, been both a supporting and a main character in a dozen incomplete short stories, and most recently the star of a complete failure of a screenplay.
And each and every time she's been slightly different; some aspect of her personality, history, powers, origins, or story has changed. I'm starting to think this is a character I'm never going to be completely happy with, but at least that means she's always gonna be evolving.
I mean, her first incarnation was a schizophrenic covered with living tattoos and wearing a costume similar to Raven's. So who knows what she'll be four years from now.
