Here's the promised speedpainting tutorial!
I'm sorry it's so big, but I honestly suck at Flash and this is the best I could do. I hope that you'll find it helpful!
you'll find all of the brushes I use here: [link]
And here you can find a selection of other quality brushes: [link] and tutorials: [link]

Oh my goodness! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this tutorial! The most helpful and indepth tutorial on speed-painting I've ever found. I keep hearing people, especially professionals, talk about how important speed-paints can be, but almost no one has ever been so helpful as you have! I can't wait to do my first true speed-paint now, this is going to be awesome!
Thanks again!

yeah I know what you mean. Maybe try and draw them on another canvas- just keep practicing and maybe copy + paste the ones you think turned out the best into it?
The way this artist draws them are very quick sketches and just fills them/ shades them. So probably don't think to hard when you draw them just do quick lines and join them together. If that even makes any sense Hope that helped at all

Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial! I just followed it, and while I still have a lot of practice to do, my first attempt at a speedpaint turned out so much better than I had expected and much better than if I had been trying to figure it out on my own. Thank you so so much!
