Took about 4 days longer than anticipated. I prefer the finesse of planning to the brute force it took to pull this off in the end. I learned alot, though. ^u^
Celestia supports both herself and Discord with a very strong tail and flank made out of steel and epoxy. The base is weighted with solid epoxy clouds and brass pipes. They are glued together with heavy duty epoxy glue.

It's quite lovely and super sweet to see the two together like this: so comfortable and close. Lovely work on both of them, and I find Celestia's hanging limbs to be quite telling of just how relaxed she is. Discord certainly seems to be having happy dreams himself. The balance work looks so good that (again) I didn't even contemplate how it was done at first. Super work.
