Description
This was done for a friend of mine, who brought me my new Wacom (I owe her a lot!) and made keeping in mind a competition at my university...I hope it goes well! I'll find out next friday...I used some textures (I can't remember where I found them =.
and a few references for the sea and the clouds because I suck at backgrounds xD.Done in PS CS3

Oh, woooow~ Really quite beautiful! The water looks amazing. Andβandβand the lady just looks so pretty, especially her hair and the texture of her fin and the clouds and the rooock! β₯ *flails*
But! I would suggest to maybe may her bottom a little rounder, more full near the thighs, and to make her fin longer. Right now it's not really proportionate to the length of her torso. =o

thanks! and regarding the critique, did you mean the tail is not proportionate? or the fin? It just seems a little strange that the size of a fin can be calculated using the torso since that part of the mermaid is so varied.
As to her bum...yes you're right, I spent a great while modifying it and I STILL didn't get it quite right xD

Oh, yes sorry! I meant the tail itself should be longer, not the little fin bit at the end.
