this is a tutorial i did for an art group several years ago, it's more of a why trees do what they do than a how to draw them but hopefully people find it useful. all drawn in computer with no mouse so the art kinda sucks.Related content

thank you, although i should probably point out that i am not a scientist, these are my observations and conclusions from personal study. information received here may not be complete or 100% accurate, but they are good general rules of thumb for understanding the whys of how to draw trees
