this is a tutorial i did for an art group several years ago, it's more of a why trees do what they do than a how to draw them but hopefully people find it useful. all drawn in computer with no mouse so the art kinda sucks.Related content

cool, i love trees. this is very interesting. i cant remember to have ever seen a scientific aproach to drawing trees before. these are alle faved by me ^^ Thank you very much!

my pleasure, instead of showing how to draw a tree i wanted to show people how trees behave so they can draw their own in their own style, i'm glad you like

thanks, maybe i'll have time someday. i did this 4 years ago so there is definitely room for improvement, right now i'm so busy working on the comic i don't have time to do practically anything else. it's nice getting positive feedback though and to know this is something people appreciate so i'll put it on the list and try to work on it occasionally
