I have been seeing a lot of these laying around Deviantart and really wanted to make my own one as a sort of overview of my next gen universe.The original idea was made by kilalaaa and her version can be found here !

First gen left to right:
Sweetie Belle and Twist:
- Parents of Sweet Tooth
- Concieved with the help of Alicorn Princess Twilight
- Sweetie Belle biological mother
Rarity and Donut Joe:
- Parents of Scarlet Heart and Petit Choux
- In this universe Pinkie was right about Donut Joe secretly being a spy
- Joe moved his headquarters to Ponyville disguising it as another Donut shop, only Rarity knows of this (and Pinkie, kind of)
Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle:
- Married quickly after they started dating
- Relationship started to dwindle after Inkwell was born
- Their fighting ultimately ended up in a divorce
Twilight Sparkle and Sunburst:
- parents of Marigold Twinkle
Twilight Sparkle and Prince Rutherford:
- Short relationship
- Parents of Love Letter
Shining Armor and Cadence:
- Rulers of the crystal empire
- Parents of Flurry Heart, Nacre Shell and Riposte
Applejack and Soarin:
- Met at the Grand Galloping Gala but didn't properly talk until one of the wonderbolts performances
- Had a lot of fun together and was very fond of eachother
- Applejack found out she was pregnant and they started to talk about their future
- Realised that they were really just way to different and decided to split up
- Applejack expected to raise their daughter alone but Soarin hung around to be a good father to his child
Big Macintosh and Cheerilee:
- Parents of Twiggy and Honey
- Built a second house on Sweet Apple Acres so to have their privacy yet still being part of the farm.
- Had a huge country style wedding on the farm
- Are discussing trying for a third child
Applebloom and Carrot Crunch:
- Never really met properly during their younger years
- Bumped into each other on one of Applebloom’s, Scootaloo’s and Sweetie Belle’s many Cutie Mark Crusaders travels
- Helped him with a Cutie Mark problem after which they stayed in touch
- Applebloom is currently pregnant with their second child
Wind Rider and Rainbow Dash:
- Rainbow Dash blacked out during one of the Wonderbolts huge celebrations
- Several months later, Rainbow found out that she was pregnant
- Wind Rider drugged and raped her as a sort of revenge for how she and her friend humiliated him
- Wind Rider is the unknowing father of Silver Lining
Rainbow Dash and Discord:
- The two got separated from the group during one of the searches for Angel (Discord being disguised as a normal pony)
- They got trapped inside a strange cave of which Discord couldn’t free them
- After revealing he was actually discord the whole time, he and Rainbow Dash started talking as they waited to be rescued
- They felt kinship from each other’s past, which ultimately ended up in a one night stand (Something which they later decided to never speak of again!)
- However Rainbow quickly came seeking Discord after a month, frantic over the fact that she was once again pregnant
- After crying her eyes out and telling him she wasn’t ready for this again and that she couldn’t do this another time, Discord promised that he would make it go away and with a snap of his fingers both he and the baby was gone
- Discord “overtook” the pregnancy (with a little trick he learned from Chrysalis) and later raised their daughter in secret, not wanting to lose another child
Discord and Chrysalis:
- Discord, being one of Celestia’s most trusted allies, got to attend the royals many meetings, one of which happened to be about the escaped Changelings and the fear of them coming to seek revenge over Canterlot
- Discord being fueled by his own bloated ego having helped defeat Chrysalis before set out in order to contain the Changeling horde on his own
- He proved over confident and foolish however as he was eventually over powered by the black bugs
- Upon seeing what her minions had captured Chrysalis devised a crazy experimental spell in trying to make hybrid creatures to strengthen her forces (since changelings themselves can’t reproduce naturally in my universe)
- Using her wierd bug magic she managed to successfully blend her’s and Discord’s DNA, making him carry the eggs
- Discord managed to escape his confinement and made his way back to his own dimension trying to forget the whole experience denying it ever even happened
- When he eventually lay several eggs he couldn’t deny it any longer
- He noticed how only one of the eggs had any signs of life, and whilst panicking not knowing what to do he ended up leaving the one egg outside Fluttershy’s cottage
- Two of the other eggs did actually survive though and was picked up by Changeling scouts while Discord was off panicking.
Fluttershy and Ponet:
- The two met at a charity auction that Rarity was participating in
- Ponet was stricken by the beauty and elegance of the shy pony and decided to try and strike up a conversation
- Fluttershy being extremely timid at first but soon warmed up to his kind and delicate personality
- Ponet is very romantic and often paints his beautiful buttercup to show his affections. Fluttershy, being aromantic in my verse, don't show her affections in quite the same way but still enjoys her hubby's silly antics.
- They both now live in Fluttershy’s cottage
- Are the biological parents of Bumblebee and Curtain Call and the adoptive parents of Angel, whom they found as an egg on their doorstep
Zephyr Breeze and Thunderlane:
- Zephyr started working at a hairdressing and spa saloon in Cloudsdale and quickly met Thunderlane who often came there with his sisters (Flitter and Cloud Chaser)
- He felt things he’d never felt before for the dark stallion and soon found out that the feelings where mutual
- Went to his sister for help with starting his family, hoping that the princess might help them
- Zephyr ended up as a mare for about 9 months which resulted in “her” and Thunderlane having twins named Tropical Wind and Seaside
Pinkie Pie and Troubleshoes:
- Pinkie had been asked if she wanted to accompany her Apple cousins to the Appleloosa rodeo and of course she said yes
- Upon seeing the rodeo clowns Pinkie immediately fell head over hoofs in love with one specific stallion and afterwards they quickly got to know each other, whilst Troubleshoes ended up being completely oblivious of the small mares flirting
- When he eventually did catch on the two were inseparable and accidentally started their family a bit earlier than they anticipated
- They got married a short time after the birth of their first daughter (boulder cried during the ceremony)
- They are the parents of Sulphur Pie and Perfectly Peachy Pie
Scootaloo and Pipsqueak:
- Grew closer as they got older and developed the same adventurous spirit
- Parents to Hurricane
- Travels a lot
Celestia and Good King Sombra:
- Meet in the mirrorverse and fell in love
- Wanted desperately to live their life together yet knew it was impossible
- On her last day in the mirrorverse Celestia and Sombra made love
- After losing her one true love Celestia was devastated
- However she had not left the mirror alone as she was now carrying Sombra’s child
- Upon learning this she once again smiled as she still had a part of Sombra in her life
- Cerulean is the prince who was conceived through this union
Luna and Spike:
- As Spike got older he started to demand more and more independence and as soon as he hit his teenage years he decided it was time for him to switch scenery and to get a real paying job
- Twilight encouraged this as she was starting to settle down and getting to grips with all her princess duties
- Spike got a spot as a personal messenger for the two royal sisters
- As time went on he became close friends with Luna and they often ended up pranking the rest of the staff and Luna’s sister in order to let of steam
- As their friendship grew they both started to develop deeper feelings for one another (Luna long having thought of her age as nothing more than a number, didn’t really see their age as anything strange)
- They gave in to their desires for one another and started dating in secret
- They both however experienced a minor heart attack when they found out that Luna was pregnant (something they didn’t know was even possible between a pony and a dragon)
- This created a kind of confusing rift between them, spike not feeling ready to be a father as he wasn’t even technically adult yet, and Luna being afraid of what her sister and the people would think of her
- Spike promised to stay and raise the child with her and was ready to take the blame for what had happened between them
- Several months later the very first recorded Pony-Dragon hybrid was born in the middle of the night during an eclipse
Silver Shill and Coco Pommel:
- Met at the Midsummer Theatre Revival
- Silver Shill started working as a volunteer and the two started to spend a lot of time together.
- Later fell in love and moved in to a bigger flat together.
- Had a son named Sleepwalker.
- Coco and Rarity meet often and used to make their kids play together (as they are aproximately the same age)
Sucker Punch (henchpony nr. 3) and Daring Do:
- Sucker Punch always had a bit of a crush on Daring.
- During one of Cabaleron's plans were he captured Daring Sucker Punch was the one to keep an eye on her.
- Daring and Sucker Punch got separated from Cabaleron's group and Sucker Punch tried to get them back.
- Along the way the two of them kind of became friends though and Daring made Sucker Punch rethink his life.
- He helped her and became sort of her sidekick.
- The two later started to get stronger feelings for eachother and so Boomer came to be.
- Cabaleron hates them both and still continues his schemes (only with new henchponies)
Cabaleron and Photo Finish:
- Cabaleron was on the search for a priceless artefact and Photo Finish was off to find an artsy background for her photoshoot. Somehow they bumped into eachother.
- Basically wierd ass denying love at first sight.
- They kept bumping into eachother during their travel through the wilderness and just started to keep eachother company for some parts of the way.
- Cabaleron couldn't get her out of his mind and later asked her out and then everything just escalated to where they are now.
- Used to live in Germaneigh.
- After Pferdinand was born they moved to a mansion at the outskirts of Ponyville (rather far from the town) The two still travels a lot (and for long periods at a time) so they have others looking after Pferdinand while they are gone.

So the major changes you might be adding to this will be:
1.Sweetie Belle having a child with Snips and or Snails (Sweet Cheeks) then getting together with Silver Spoon after they die.
2.Replacing Carrot Crunch with Diamond Tiara as Applebloom's significant other.
3.Scootaloo getting with Gabby instead of Pipspeak and Hurricane becoming a griffon hybrid (and a dick)
4.Showing Bumble's biological father (Bulk Biceps or that other guy I can't remember).
5.Shipping Zephyr with Lightning Dust and including their son Nimbo.
6.Having Rock Hoof replace Troubleshoes as Pinkie's husband and father to Sulfur, Peachy, Velvet, and the twins.
7.Removing Flurry's mane from the picture.
8.Putting in Trixie and Tempest as well as their daughter Moxie Fizzlepop along with the child she carried for Fancy and Fleur, Yacht Club.

I have a question. How did you do those "pointy" pony/pegasus/unicorn/whatever heads? Is there a website or something, or did you draw them yourself? I see them in any generation guide and I'd really like to do mine as well, but I have a few doubts on the origins of those headshots XD

I found another ones next gen tree and used their heads as a ref to make my own in Windows Paint. Then I just copy and pasted them all over the screen and customized them slightly ^^''
You could download mine if you want and use that as a base. It works best in Windows Paint since everything is in pixel art.
