Hawkeye here was a request from my friend who's gotten himself addicted to Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but unlike his MvC3 counterpart, I chose to draw Barton in his new Heroic Age outfit because I love how they were able to make an iconic costume look even sleeker.

I had lots of trouble in making this piece. Hawkeye was probably the most complicated drawing so far, he had his arrows, quiver, straps, belt, armor scales and to top it all off there's his bow as well. I was able to manage it all by separating them in layers, then focusing on each detail before going on to the next.

While drawing him I kind of gave up halfway through it because it was so complicated but I'm glad I was able to pull through and get it done. I love how I was able to do the armor patterns on his chest and arms and the texture of the navy blue parts of the costume I added. Hope you guys like it as much as I do!

UPDATE: I always thought my Hawkeye had a really bad face because of how cartoony and undetailed it was, so I went on ahead to fix him up earlier today while I was bored in class. I fixed up that weird smirk of his to give him a straight mouth, then went on to fix his eyes to make them more realistic. I love how I was able to make him look like he's squinting and focusing on a target, a vast improvement over the previous version!
