There once was a small ladybug with only one little black spot on her back. She was very sad about it, but she heard about a small gnome, who was a painter, but he lived deep in the forest. So she went on a journey, and eventually found him. He took the ladybug, placed her in his palm, grabbed his paintbrush and painted all the missing spots (:Related content

my old username was inspired by my old profession
as medical/ scientific illustrator/ modeler, Transient
flux fits me better because I am a little bit unstable
in my decision making, not consistent, am a tad erratic
especially with my work. I think I had like 10 sketch books filled
with awesome creatures and hand drawn illustrations, one
day I got depressed about something and burned all of them
in 1 hr. alot of my old works don't exist anymore too
I think your name has a nice warm connotation feeling to it,
the dark regions of my mind keeps associating it with_______
A person as eccentric as I am, based on your nature, i'd come up with
a name like "Ethereal Ember" as a fantasy/ surreal artist but
velvet cat is a nice name...

Just for future reference - If you will ever have any dark thoughts about destroying your art, just send me a small message and I will give you my address, and we will pretend like those works never existed.... But to burn them - that's just... heartbreaking :C
My name is very old and it's very hard to change it. There's a warm small story how I came up with it - It was freezing in my house one day, I think it was almost winter, I was sitting there wrapped in all the blankets that I could find, one of them was made out of velvet. My cat came a lied down in my lap, and we both were wrapped in blankets now, all warm. That moment was so tranquil.
I like that you can change your name so easily, new stuff can always inspire to explore and create new things. 'Ethereal Ember' sounds very fancy O.O

now so much faster and less aggravating when I mess
up ^^.
Damn, your name carries alot of weight, its a nice
name, I don't think you will ever change it until

I just hope I will not change it to something spontaneous, I can come up with really stupid names when it comes to that XD
I also draw most of my stuff on the computer, though drawing on a paper does have a feel of durability. I mean, digital art is so 'moving', you make one work and move on to your next one, often deleting what you have sketched or done wrong etc. Even until this day I have my sketches and doodles that I did many years ago, while the ones that I started doing on pc are deleted or lost. And it's quite fun to see what you did in the past ^^ I guess I'm a bit old schooled about this..

but that archaic method of art preservation
