"AeroVG Se7en" theme is a Windows 7 port of my previous "AeroVG" theme vishal-gupta.deviantart.com/ar… for Windows Vista users which is one of the most popular themes available for Windows Vista.
"AeroVG Se7en" theme provides excellent transparency in Taskbar, Startmenu, Explorer, etc. It also changes lots of visual things like menubar, progressbar and much more. In short it provides maximum transparency and glass effect in Windows 7.

your theme permanently darkened my task bar?
I already had patched my system with uxtheme patcher.
any clue as to how to fix it?
i go to apearances and try to minimalize the "color intensity"

Vishal is the best ever. I always watch his tutorial when I was using XP. Now I use windows 7 and he still make great tutorials and projects! Nice VG!

To all those who say it's not working for ya:
Guys, don't forget to patch your system first before applying this! I personally recommend VistaGlazz, as V2 now works with Windows 7, but there are many programs to do it, and you can always patch your files manually!

For some odd reason, this theme fails in epic fashion on my system. All of the default themes work perfectly, but this theme gives me the wonderful & nostalgic "Win95" appearance; no transparency, and taskbar icons are rendeder in bland white with Win9x icons.

However, one or two problems.
Firstly, are the jump lists meant to be pure white with no transparency? It just seems a bit odd to me, having no transparency.
Also, when I have the taskbar vertically on the left of the screen, at its narrowest width for some reason it does not show the date, and I need to make it a tiny bit wider to show the date. I did not have this issue with the default windows 7 theme, so it probably is a bug in the theme.
Other than that, excellent work, keep it up

Yep. Jumplists are non-transparent similar to default Aero theme.
Regarding Date issue, it happens due to added shadow effect in System Tray clock.

One of the things I like about this theme compared to others is the shadows under the text in the start menu.
Without it, the text can be unreadable if I have anything white underneath the start menu.
