heh...well this is what I have been workin on for the past week and a half(part of what Im makin is still under construction)Heres my first real promo look into my novels' universe...and the ship Vissroid(I used that name for me here on DA...lol)
I hope ya guys and gals likes!
95% 3D s Max 5 Note:this is my second attempt at makin planet/moons in Max(so be gentle...lol)
5% PS(placin them all together and whatnot...

Oh yeah from this point on I'd like to dedicate this to cuz without him I would never have found a program I love(you know what I mean my friend)

hm....looks well for a first try in max...try to work more on the textures, 'cuz that bump map really sucks...the asteroids are allright though i don't like the material you used . it gives a very strange look. and max can do a lot more beautiful flares

Very cool.. Again, I like the intense colours (or blue, as you might call it). Very nice rock formations, and I like the ship. A great piece.

Im happy to hear someone does...The ship has been designed and re-designed over the years...I was hopin at least someone would like it...sadly there isnt a very good look at it here...but hey...It aint finished in 3d s max yet so...that would be one reason...lol

You're welcome. I like the organic-ness of it. I prefer ships like that far more than the regular, box, round or delta shaped ships. Nice uniqueness.

well...as you can see its a sci-fi...lol
Its kinda goin for the feal of like startrek(a lil) , starwars(some)
and alot of feel of what Starcraft had when playin it and reading the books...lol and lets not forget the Alien(s) movies too
Whith some of my own stuff stossed in there from out of the blackhole of my mind with hybrids, mechs, ship warfare, and even don to the infantry warfare...with a lil feel and love stossed in there too.

Yep! This is my kind of sci-fi. One has to realise when looking at something like this that the universe is so invinitely huge that somewhere right now this exact scene is taking place. I am so small...

I love whats going on here, mainly the smaller planet, the star and the ships. Biological like, strange random shapes. Just my style. Well done, i think il keep my eye on you, lol.

the planets are too intensely beveled, other than that it's really nice.

There was nothing I could do about the planet...the moon is fine though..thats what I get for usin a cheap texture I made for the planet I guess...lol

lol...yeah...that was a cheap texture I made...that was a bump map at 0.1...and well as you know 0.0 has no bumps...lol...So I got forced into it...hehe...Thanx for the help...Im still tryin to get those asteroids down but I think I might get some where some time...lol
