Description
This is my contribution to a contest, that was about drawing the Naruto characters in contemporary clothing and the Akatsuki members in some sort of formal, business suits.Concerning Madaraβs past as a military leader, I wanted to add some elements of the basic design of a uniform to it and therefore blended the designs of Hugo Boss and Masashi Kishimoto with my own ideas.

Ugh, people need to understand that usually people who draw characters or ocs in SS-esque uniforms o so because they're fucking HOT, not because they're neonazis. ~.~

Well, true!
Some people apparently like beefing around - most important thing: they prattle something, suitable or not.
Of course (mostly) without paying regards to the artist's comments
... or the fact that it's not the design's fault that the people wearing these uniforms committed the abhorrent crimes they did.
Aesthetics has nothing to do with morals and therefore I see nothing wrong in enjoying it based on aspects of "beauty".
So yes, we like it because it LOOKS hot!

I like the German uniform. It fits him ironically. It does have that 1940's flare to it, so its really nice, I especially like the katana.
Though, I would say that you might have wanted to go with the Japanese military uniform at the time. Then idiots wouldn't be able to scream "NAZI" at you.
Of course, I'm smart and I read the artist comments (most of the time >.>) so, I understand your choice. Plus, he looks really good in it.

And yes, uniforms really suit him, that's true. I think uniforms and suits enhance every man's appearance somehow. It's just so elegant. Too bad that hardly any guy nowadays dresses that way. It's always that baggys and sweater stuff. *yuck*
Hmm, the Japanese uniform just didn't come to my mind. But now that you mention it... it would have been a good choice, too.

Being in the military, everyone wears uniforms and some of the guys when they put on their dress uniforms just look really hot. *dreamy sigh*
My brother likes wearing suits and dres shirts and he looks really good in them. But you are right, guys today just wear that baggy stuff. Which is ugly.

Even prince Harry looked kinda handsome in his dark-blue uniform at his brother's wedding - even though he's not my type at all. Same goes for prince William.

He'll be an officer and in the Navy. In terms of combat, the Navy is relatively safe. We deal with the ocean not the land.
Plus, he wants to finish college first before going into the Navy, and I really hope he goes into the intellegence field so he can become an Informations Officer and be kept away from all the fighting.

Concerning the other thing:
I was already wondering when the first comment like yours would crop up!
As a respond to such thoughts I elaborated on this subject in the "comment of the artist" section.
I did this in order to avoid such misconceptions, but apparently it still happens.... =_=
