Hi there!
I really like how this came out, it makes a different impression on the watcher whether he looks from the distance or from up close, like many levels of visual "interpretation".
From the distance (or the thumbnail in deviantart's case) the dragon is very visible, at a closer look I can concentrate on the earth and the little sprouts of grass, and closing up you can see all the crackings of the paint on the rock. It's amazing how this piece can have this effect.
The part I like the most is the one with the grass, there's a lot of contrast between colours and it makes it more realistic and pleasing to the eye.
The cracks are very good, I wonder what would come out if you made a section of a tree's trunk with this painting technique... it could come out very realistic even if abstract and random, I think it could be really nice.
The only thing that is hard for me to understand is the setting of the scene. The bright yellow makes me think that we're seeing the dragon's silohuette in front of a huge moon globe of which we can't see the edge... while the rocks and terrain look pretty sunny in their colours and shades. Maybe a slightly shaded background (orange to yellow for example) would have given more the idea of a sunset, so the foreground's light and colour would have been more consistent with the rest.
I already commented on a piece of yours some time ago, so I didn't speak about your art style and technique... but it's very unique and so different from things you see everyday, so keep it up with the experimenting!

This piece is very unique and has a great style and charm to it! I love the style, its very original and looking at your gallery I would love to see more from you!
Its actually something I would hang in my house believe it or not.
I enjoy how you gave the cliff texture, it makes it look even more unique.
And the few patches of grass are very nice, they break up the browns to give it some color.
I would want to recommend that you maybe try to do something to make the cliff stand out more, its difficult to see the cliff-side in this painting.
From afar when I clicked the thumbnail, I couldnt tell what it was until I really looked at it.
Overall you have alot of skill, talent, and style. Your unique and stand out, i'm sure if you fix my one issue you could make some stunning artwork!

what I like the most about this is the contrast between the flat part and the raised one, it gives a tridimensional effect: how can I put it, it seems to look inside a canyon with a far...dragon, that black spot resembles one
