Man, it's been a while but I finally did a drawing with some type of background, however this is more a experiment in painting than anything else, I still need to learn different how to use more things that the programs I use have and see what I can do with them. Normally I tend to draw or paint all in one layer, which I know isn't the most effective thing to do, so I am working on that. So much blue in this picture, ehe, I think that made it a bit hard to see the purple fur. I got inspired by the song of the same name and was listening to it a lot. Vortex should probably get headphones more fitting to her ears, hehe.Vortex is by me

I have to say I really luv the relaxed and pleased expression on Vortex ^v^ I'm working on coloring an indigo character and I realized how much blue he lacks after seeing this piece ;-; *will work on fixing that* Overall I like how vibrant this turned out X3 especially that background~

Thank you, ^^ I was a bit worried at first that the amount of dark colors in the background would blend in a bit too much with Vortex, mostly having dark colors herself, hehe. I'm happy you like the background, most of my pictures tend to lack them so I am working on that.

She might be able to hear it better if the headphones were IN her ears.
There is indeed alot of blue and dark color in this picture, so I have to imagine a brighter color for the background to contrast Vortex's colors would have worked better.
I do like the aqua line in the back, it kind of looks like a noise-level line you see in recordings. All in all very vibrant picture, nicely done.

The headphones were done somewhat in the same style like the artworks done for Sonic, in which they are regular headphones and nowhere near his ears, hehe, she does have proper ones for hers though. And the background was sort of lightly based on the song, the video for that having a mainly blue background, hehe.
