Description And he realized when he looked at it that if even one of the UFOs ever managed to reach the surface, nothing would ever quite be the same again. The official story was that the UFOs were viral projections from an autonomous continuum that was somehow intersecting with Earth, but when he saw one of them up close he immediately saw that the truth was much elegant, that these objects were windows into an ecology of souls and that somehow he was getting a peek at the other side. Somehow he was finding out that thing that he had cheerfully assumed he couldn't. But it felt like he was finding out. And then he couldn't remember what it felt like because Keynote note interrupted him and said

"Don't think about it. Don't think about what they are. Focus on the mission and do it. Do it! Do it now!"

What's the story with this recent theme of yours, UFO's and all?Β

The human collective psyche begins manifesting physically as these impossible object UFOs with the goal of contacting humanity and completely shattering every scientific paradigm because they are entities that cannot be described by any branch of physics. They are a sort of a black swan reset button on human science which is leading the species in an overwhelming industrializing and technological push that's leading up to their extinction.

An XCOM-esque secret organization is founded by international agreements to make a global air force to intercept and destroy the UFOs in the stratosphere before they can land, but eventually some elements in this international air force start believing that if humanity is actually being led to its own extinction by science, then the UFOs should be allowed to land. So the aces of this air force end up having to fight both the UFOs and the turncoats.

It's based on Ace Combat, anime where a mysterious thing just pops up and starts exploding stuff (Evangelion, Kantai Collection, Arpeggio of Blue Steel, etc.) and Terence McKenna's lectures on the human mind, the end of history and DMT. In fact, the description of all the deviations are paraphrased/adapted McKenna quotes.

Sounds cool actually. Was this just an idea you had, or have you been building up to it?Β
