Description
The Legendary Kingdom Key Keyblade In Kingdom Hearts.A simple commission that I enjoyed making. I should make my own.. This is way better than that one i bought off ebay forever ago >_>;
100% hand carved Pinewood. Leather wrapped handle. Metallic paints. To achieve different thicknesses, multiple layers were used.
If i had the time i would love to metal plate it >_>. That would take forever though and be much more costly.

Your keyblade isnt that bad at all actually. It looks very nice :]
I would say to be careful with proportions making sure that certain shapes aren't too fat, too long or thin.
I have a keyblade tutorial in my gallery that explains how to make them if you would like to know how i made mine.

If I was ever going to buy a keyblade off the internet, it'd have to be the original 3. Kingdom Key, Kingdom Key D, and Way to the Dawn.
Oblivion, Oathkeeper and/or any other look cool, but I dont think anything comes close to how cool, simple, and compact the kingdom key is.
Just curious... but do you sell your keyblades?
Or do you only post your progress on your own projects?

Wow that's really good. It's hard to find a life-sized keyblade that accurate. Is there anyway to make it so that it doesn't look so rough?

its the paint and the sun revealing every imperfection >_>
I could sand the hell out of it but it would look plasticy and wouldnt retain that wood sculptural texture. Its also impossible to get rid of the rough look even if you sand it a ton. thats just how wood is. Unless i make it out of MDF.. but mdf is ugly, heavy and is fake wood
