Hmm- I arrived at 12,616. That sounds more correct for a gallon of almost pure sugar.
200 C / 60mL serving. 3785 mL / Gal, so 63 servings x 200 C = 12,616

Hm. The quote I was using was 74 C per oz (should be fl oz, given that what I searched for, but ass-backwards measurement units are ass-backwards.) Redoing the calc gives 9472, so I probably fat-fingered something: 74 * 18 is 1332, bbut it should be 74*128.
Maybe the remaining discrepancy is maple syrup vs "pancake syrup"? Redoing the calc again using a quarter cup at 210 C gives 13440 C for a gallon. If that was the same per volume, a fluid ounce should be about 100 C, not 74. I might have some of both items I could doublecheck for this.
Checking the real items, pancake syrup is reading out at 200 / .25 cup, and true maple is 210 per the same. So, probably what happened is google used dry ounces, and since maple syrup is denser than water, it has more than 128 of those per gallon.
