Description Just thought I'd post the sketch of this here to see if anyone would be interested.

Normally I just sketch with the pencil tool, but I decided to use a bigger brush after viewing one of Jacques00's Livestream sessions (thanks for putting up with my questions). I made the lines darker later on, so you can see that I kept my hard edged eraser settings.

Anyways, hope ya like. You can check out the finished versions on the 'Stand and on my gallery.

I'm glad you put the sketch up as well. I really enjoy seeing things in their unfinished states. Interesting to see the difference you put forth in the linework this time around; I think you handled it right well.

Thanks. The kind of strange part about the thicker lines is that it only looks right once it's all finished. When there are still parts I haven't gotten to yet, the whole thing looks really off.

Ha, man I hate pictures like that; the kind where you're just hoping the whole time it all comes together like you think it will because it doesn't look like it's going to as you're working on it. Totally great when it does though, and it looks like it did here.

Yeah. I've done pictures where the extra line weight was on another layer. If it didn't work out, I could easily salvage the 1 pixel wide lines. But on this one, everything was in the same layer. Luckily things turned out OK :]

I'd love to check out one of Jacques' livestream sessions, but the elusive bugger invariably sets 'em up when it's 5am England time. Early bird indeedy.

Great sketch, though, and an interesting position (all squeezed up like that).

I usually end up hearing about them from somebody else. They're fun to watch until I start feeling guilty that I'm just spectating and not actually drawing anything :]
