After a week of intensive ICTs, the patient is exhibiting signs of recovery. The belly, once flat, is beginning to protrude, acting as support for the enlarging breasts.
It is normal for the subjects to be non-compliant during the early stages of treatment. SICDS sufferers view their sick bodies as normal, and take time to adjust to their correct, healthy proportions.
