Yes, I had one older yet, but it was stolen in a break in. I also had one that was made as a retirement watch here in Canada (Winnipeg) for a company in southern Ontario. In my research, I was able to contact family members of that company. It too was stolen.

I lost mamya camera too. In total, with the damage, about 10,000.00. Insurance company was not happy, but they paid, then my rates went up.

That sucks up until about 3 years ago; they didnt have a mechanism for raising the home rates after losses;but they've all jumped on the bandwagon now..

In that way Canada has been different. This all happened in 1994-5. After that we put in a security system.

I don't use the camera to determine exposure in the studio. I like the 105mm because of the distance it allows me to work from the subject, and this one does not develop DOF degradation until after f-16. It is a good lens.

lovely composition and focus bring out each scratch, brush and stamp on the metal the colors and the depth there is beauty in so many things others take for granted.. and time clearly is told by this in two ways as a clock or watch and by the scratches of repeated tightening of its screws
