Description
Here's the main reason I have been so quiet all season - I've started trying to learning how to preserve flowers and plants into resin! Here's a showcase of my first epoxy resin experiments!I am imagining they can be for jewelry or decoration. Although... I don't know much about jewelry. I am probably going to attach them on to chains for necklaces or charms or something of the sort.
It is so fun to do this and really forced me to pay attention to the growth and life cycle of the plants. I really enjoyed watching them grow throughout the season, and it was so fun paying attention to and identifying even all the little weeds that sprouted up. My first few were rather simple, and now I'm trying to play with more pigments and figure out how to make my own molds. There should be more coming soon!
Sorry for the inconsistent lighting... I think my next investment might have to be a new camera :/
Oh! And I have an Instagram now!
Materials Casting Craft Epoxy Resin, Dried flowers, silicone molds, pressure pot (a pressure pot is a must! Otherwise your clear castings get all full of little bubbles).

Gosh i tried this too a while ago but i guess i had the wrong resin because the plants all lost their color :') They look so gorgeous, i particularly like the little pendant on the top right and the... gradient thing on the bottom right Awesome stuff

You have been busy with resin experiments! Some of these look really beautiful. I like the idea of you using plants from your own garden for these.
