Description
Inspired by Emilie Simon's music video for her song Desert, which I loved. It kind of had a whole "Sally" from Nightmare Before Christmas thing going on. I'd originally intended to make this dark and creepy like in the video, but it didn't look right. So now it's kind of happy.
Also, I haven't really done much with ComicWorks since AEF, so I figured I'd play around in it for this.

This probably is my favourite drawing on dA ever. I keep coming back to it ever since it got the DD.
I just love how natural, fantastic and happy and mysterious it is. And the phrase "Without you, I'm a nowhere girl" fits the mood I get from it perfectly. I just love it.

very cool...I only just got adicted to her music, by accident even. Just let someone else's account go on when it landed on her song, Opium. then i got hooked, and am currently listening to Never Fall In Love. funny thing, half her songs I realized are in a different language, but that's okay (only not when you look up the lyrics and nobody gives the translation underneath).

I adore this picture. I am completely smitten by her head- just the adorable shape of the face paired up with the hair...it makes me want to be a manga illustration...
