Yeah. So last night I was taking a study break and doodling in OC...I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I just started scribbling noses and mouths, and I guess it eventually turned into this. Imoutosan and I were talking about the old comics we used to read the other night. I was a huge fan of Gen 13...remember that one? Anyway, my favorite character was Roxy [a.k.a. Freefall]. She was badass. She doesn't have all these tattoos and piercings, but I drew them on her anyway. Fits her personality. And I like drawing tattoos.I was lazy, so this is basically a sketch that took a half an hour to clean up, and then was colored in. I didn't feel like lining it. I may actually start lining things this way more often, since it takes less time, and I kind of like how the quality is, compared to the pen tool and scanning. Ah welp. ^^

I don't beleive I ever read Gen 13, but I remember it. Anyhow, it's a very nice, clean illustration. It would make a really good wallpaper actually.

roxy... hands down my favorite image comics character... overall, at least in my top 5 next to gambit, rogue, psylocke and grunge... nice. not enough roxy pics around. anyway, she looks badass with the tats and peircings... btw, i wonder what tat she got on her ass back in the day? i guess the world may never know, huh... damn.

Ahh, I also love Rogue and Gambit...definitely my favorite characters from the X-Men franchise. Grunge was also a great character, but I had a soft spot for Burnout in Gen13. Felt so bad for him half of the time, with all of his angsting. Hahah...not sure what ass-tat she got, but I remember seeing cover art with her getting a Hello Kitty tattoo on her pelvis!

unfortunately bobby wasn't a huge part ever in the comic, though you gotta admire his persistence with sarah... that alone can make you feel bad for him. as for grunge, i really liked him cause he was just really fun and went against the grain of your normal superhero... for one, he's stupid, which is REALLY outta character. too bad the cartoon messed him up and used flea's cheap ass for his voice. anyway, on that note, yet again, love the gen13 stuff... i'm not really a fan of the anime style, but for this pic it really fits well. i'd love to see more of gen13...
