Kinda - it's an alternate universe story where (as is shown along the way) Jasper and Peridot ended up wanted criminals on Homeworld for losing the hand ship, so they're hanging out with Steven and the mom squad as an alliance of convenience to give them a fighting chance when whatever Yellow Diamond sends after them shows up.
I kinda started the story in the wrong end but we'll get around to it eventually.
