Espirando
********
Espirando is a musical term meaning 'dying away' - I felt it appropriate, since it is concept art from Skeletal Requiem.
I've had this planned out in my head since mid-November; Hecate's death. When Evi is attacking the Ianvs Barathrvm, Hecate stays behind to give Dante, Milton and Thomas more time to escape- resulting in, well, Evi destroying her.
Still loving my airbrush- I'm going to need to buy more air cans or invest in a bigger system (ABS1 with the compressor attachment and air cans lasting up to 45mins *drools* ). Used green painters tape to mask Hecate, create the boundaries and lines.
PS: OMG I love this paper. It's absolute CRAP that is only good for sketches... But the markers blend so freaking WELL with it! Gotta be careful though, it bleeds like all hell XD;

I LOVE the way you framed it. It really gives the piece such a frozen in time moment feeling.

i did wonder what you meant about blood splatters.
("dante & milton" ahem. you fully realise that we are equal levels of geek, right?)
i'm liking the tone of his skin on this one. seems a bit more naturalistic & fleshy rather than a fairly distinctive line between shadow & light.
