Support Zeke. For some reason, Zeke always reminded me of . Don't know why the hell that would be. Might be when he said "that sucks donkey balls", and the way he's a bit of a Commie. Either way, Zeke was a good character and one of the reasons I love inFAMOUS.
"There is something seriously wrong with you, Zeke."

"Half as long... twice as bright."
I felt a bad for Zeke in the first game, even though his betrayal was kind of selfish. Then he got a greater role in the sequel, so I almost cried in the evil karma ending. He was a hilarious and awesome friend. So yeah... I support Zeke Dunbar. Great stamp! That picture of him is one of my favorites!
Have you read the comics too? I really like Zeke's part in DC's "InFAMOUS" adaptation.

Zeke is a pretty awesome character. I have to love the quote "Shit, man, open your eyes!! You see any any National Guard? Any Red Cross? Β΄Cause I sue as hell donΒ΄t. You need to wake up man, before itΒ΄s too late." But uh... would you mind explaining "Half as long, twice as bright"? I never got that...

The meaning for "Half as long, twice as bright" is probably up for speculation, but I think it goes well with another quote from a movie; "You can either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain". In the sense that you can flicker out but burn bright in the time you had, (Die a hero) or burn for a long time but with considerably less of a "heroic shine". (Become the villain)

Yeah, he's got some of the best quotes.
I'm not too sure of its true meaning as I've read various explanations.

The part where he and Cole are talking about finding the guy's killer so Zeke can score with his sister always makes me laugh, every time.

Agreed, he was paramount to the story. I'll look forward to seeing how he redeems himself in InFamous 2, although I worry about how different Cole is. I really hope they've done this new game right. The first was close to perfection.

don't worry the new trailers show us that cole is back to his old self. (still has the new voice but looks just like his old self.)

It's a shame about the voice, but I definitely preferred his old costume. Although, I'd have happily sacrificed his outfit, voice, whatever, so long as they keep his attitude. I just liked the fact that he wasn't a pretty boy and had a nice gravelly voice.

yeah i agree the whole point was to have a character who was an everyman and not your average perfect super hero. it really feels like some big executives saw the game was a success and then turned around and said.
"ok the game did great for the sequel we need a few changes first of all make him more likable, and we need to get the female audience (males will stick with it so long as theres action) so we need to make cole ...ect ect.
but of course the fans would not have it and now he seems to be back to normal. i understand they can't just fire new voice actor, but it would be nice to have the old cole voice back.

Yeah, I really liked that about Cole. He didn't have an unimpeachable morality the way characters like Batman or Superman did. But he wasn't a psychotic like the Punisher was either. But at the same time, he wasn't a whining little douche like Spiderman from the movies. He had powers, he learned to use them for the good of those around him, he became a hero, but didn't have all the answers, nor did he succeed all the time. The decision with Trish, I felt, was what made that game for me. But, playing back through it, I realise I love the whole thing, start to finish.
Cole, to me, is the epitome of a sympathetic and realistic character in a crazy situation. It's a shame I don't feel as excited about InFamous 2 as I should, but seeing that trailer really didn't inspire me all that much. I don't think it's going to be as good. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'm wrong.

I concur! Loved Zeke. His interaction with Cole was often hilarious and even genuinely touching at times.
