This is really intriguing. I usually don't like abstract art much, but this is really good.

I have never seen such raw emotion in a painting on deviantart before. You've shared so much of yourself in these pictures and with such honesty I almost feel that I should look away, in order to grant you your privacy. But by looking through the journey you've painted in this series, it seems to me that you've come to understand the concept of slavery to sonship with an intimacy that I will never fully be able to grasp.

"And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, β€œAbba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God." - Galations 4:6-7

This is such an incredibly powerful and emotional series you have here. You have truly done a wonderful job with the concept, and you have captured catharsis beautifully. Best to you.

wow... i see that you dream where i dream.
i am surprised i havent found you sooner.
i bet a dollar your interested in the great links between religion, philosophy and history, and their fundamental applications to modern society...right?
just gotta say, your paintings, though dark, are stylish as hell.
come see my stuff sometime, you will get what i mean about sharing dreamspace. mine isnt as dark as yours but the general philosophies behind our works seem similar in certain aspects.

I love these pieces--and because they are all connected, I wanted to send you one unified comment rather than post on each one individually.

I can tell how much of your heart and soul has gone into these paintings--the emotions are so tangible and evident. I particularly love your choice in color scheme, because it's very hard to create such vivid images with such neutral tones. In "A Year to Forget," this stands out the most because of those little red X's on the trees.

I also love the religious overtones here, especially in "The Pavement" and "The Fall." I don't know if I'm reading it correctly, but I feel as though spirituality has been quite a big part of this journey that you've illustrated. It's very beautiful, in a quintessentially unique way. I'm not sure I've ever seen spiritual experiences illustrated this way, and I quite love how bold and different they are.
