Description Fire Lord Ozai. Cabbage Guy. Same guy.

And by that I mean, am I the only one who has noticed the connection between alchemy and Masonry? Seriously, Pom-Pom. There is a LOT of alchemic imagery in Freemasonry. And it seems to me that if Ed and Al made their way to this world, chances are, the would probably become Masons (courtesy of Brother Mustang 8D).

To any Brothers out there - sorry if some of the costuming is off. I've only seen my father dressed like this once (sadly, at his father's funeral), so I may be off on a few details. (If my dad is a Brother and I'm his daughter, does that make me a Niece?). But I just showed the picture to my dad, and he says the outfits they're wearing are those of Worshipful Masters. And yeah, seeing as how talented Ed and Al are, yeah, I bet they would become Worshipful Masters. (Granted, they look very young here, since I was going for their movie ages, but even by German standards, Ed at least is voting age which makes him "of lawful age").

Nonetheless, I think Edward looks gorgeous. I can't explain it, but it just makes me feel proud to see them dressed like this. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

[On a side note: That Avatar reference up top come from a convention video floating around the internet someplace].

Admittedly in this picture, I did draw Ed and Al a bit too young looking (still thinking during-Shamballa, when this is supposed to be post-Shamballa). In the story Fullmetal After, they're in Frankfurt, Germany. As to how they got to be so high-ranking in such a short amount of time (at the time of this picture, Ed would have been in the Lodge for 5, maybe even 10 years) - I don't know how long it takes to become a Mason - but Ed and Al's proficiency and knowledge of alchemy gave them a great advantage. They basically already had an understanding of most of the basic tenets [of course this is my speculation. I am not a Mason, but from what I can gather through available info, I am reminded heavily of medieval alchemy].

I’m kind of new to this group thing, but I think you just click the “submit art” icon by the “join” or “suggest a fave” and that should prompt you on what to do, or that’s how I do it in other groups that I am in
Thanks!
