DISCLAIMER! I do not claim to be an authority on drawing men, this is only one of the many methods and it's very far from the best.Still, I hope it is informative, and that it will be helpful especially to anime/manga-style artists who are tired of drawing bishounen and want to draw manly men for a change.
I'm not very satisfied with this really, I feel I should have drawn more examples (or better examples at the least). If there's anything in my handwriting that you can't read, tell me so and I will translate the hieroglyphics...

I think I might have to use this tutorial in reverse to figure out how to draw girly guys.

I can't tell you how long it took me to learn how to draw manly men. As it is, some of my guys still looks girly (though maybe....on purpose? *meek*). These are good observations, thanks for the guide!

you are very right. i'm sick of seeing girly boys everywhere. i don't find them attractive. i like MEN, not girls. or boys that look like girls, which is just creepy. this is very helpful though! i keep meaning to draw some guys out but it's kind of hard. they usually look deformed in some way.
will you be doing a male anatomy tut as well? i have a hard time with manly figures
