I always check out the full views....just in case I miss something important on the smaller pic

Same here. My browser is set to check in fullview. Regular view is a waste of time as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, but I tend to scale my pics down when that happens. The widest I go for is 8 inches, that's the standard size of most screens.

Well, if you've got the Photoshop, you go to Image, then Image Size. When the box pops up, adjust the width of the pic to 800 px, which is the same as 8 inches, depending on what the Resolution is set to [it should be set to 100 pixels/inch]. But before you enter 800 px, you have to make sure that the Constrain Proportions box is checked off, so that the height adjusts automatically to preserve the height/width ratio. Otherwise, you'll end up with a scrunched-up picture.

If you don't have the Photoshop, relax. All photo editing software has this feature in some form. You just have to remember to check and make sure that the Height:Width ratio remains the same. It takes a little math to get it right, but it can be done, rest assured.
