When the idea for the love triangle was proposed, I thought of it like a Betty & Veronica thing. As we discussed this piece, I wanted them wearing boxing gloves. There's just something inherently funny about boxing gloves, I think. Thankfully, my client agreed.

Actually, that is kind of my fault 
In both pieces, I didn't want Robin to appear as small as he does to Starfire in the Teen Titans. So, we went with making everyone a little older.
